Asset Capability Management
In today’s challenging economic climate, more than ever,
organisations are expected to reduce spend, avoid unexpected costs,
and become more efficient. This can be difficult without critical
insight into your network environment and how it is being used.
SELEX Systems Integration’s approach to asset management focuses
on the bigger picture of lifecycle asset assessment, which uses an
interdisciplinary approach encompassing strategy, asset capability,
systematic risk assessment, sustainability, maintenance management,
obsolescence, safety, environment, human factors, configuration and
regulation changes. All these areas combine to provide the customer
with an enhanced asset management capability at an economic cost
and value in a highly integrated fashion. This is achieved using
Lifecycle Management, Cost Analysis, Spares Provisioning Ranging
and Scaling (AR&M), and Whole Life Cost analysis tools.
All areas of asset operation impact activities, such as
procurement, maintenance, workflow and other operational
activities, are required to keep the assets in operational
condition.
The asset status is monitored by real-time information regarding
configuration, utilisation, health and maintenance history. The
availability of such information enhances the central maintenance
plan, maintenance planning, and optimisation for ordering of
critical spares / spare parts.
SELEX Systems Integration’s approach to asset management
provides an affordable, comprehensive and effective single
harmonised service which:
- Guarantees levels of asset performance
- Ensures low financial risk to the customer with reduced sparing
costs
- Is delivered through one all-embracing contract
SELEX Systems Integration has a long-term relationship with the
UK Ministry of Defence, operating a performance-based asset
management enabling contract.
