The eyes of the world are already on London, with the 2012 Olympics and Paralympics just around the corner, and the security measures are being heavily scrutinised, as they would be for any major event. After all, the safety and security of athletes and supporters are paramount.

These systems must foresee or counterbalance any threat of terrorist or criminal organisation attacks.
