British Energy renews SELEX Systems Integration’s training
contract for further two years
7 December 2009 – SELEX Systems
Integration Ltd, a Finmeccanica company, will continue to provide
nuclear safety training to British Energy for at least two more
years, following a framework contract renewal.
Building on a five-year
relationship with SELEX Systems Integration, the framework renewal
is in line with British Energy’s ongoing requirements to provide
generic and site specific nuclear safety and emergency response
training to its employees in the UK. SELEX Systems Integration
produces self-paced and instructor-led training material for use in
British Energy’s Learning Centres at their eight UK sites.
SELEX Systems Integration
Director of International Operations, Martin Blomley, said: “This
extension clearly demonstrates the value that British Energy places
on us a training specialist. We are therefore delighted to continue
our support to them over the next two years, in one of the key
areas of critical national infrastructure.”
