SELEX Systems Integration to display breadth of capability at
DSEi 2011

Systems Integration Ltd, a Finmeccanica company, will be displaying
its leading edge capability in support of increasingly complex
military and non-military domains, at Defence & Security
Equipment International (DSEi) 2011.
As governments around the world
develop national security strategies to protect society against an
increasingly wide range of threats, risks and instabilities,
Finmeccanica and its subsidiary companies, including SELEX Systems
Integration, are deploying their proven technology and expertise to
deliver leading edge capability efficiently and effectively to the
front-line.
SELEX Systems Integration will
be attending this year’s event as part of the Finmeccanica presence
(stand S5305). As the UK subsidiary of SELEX Sistemi Integrati, the
company will be demonstrating solutions to meet the defence and
security challenges of international audiences, under the
operational areas of Battlespace, Security and Cyber Solutions. The
demonstrations on display will include:
- Integrated Cyber
Shield – architectural solution designed to intrinsically
secure systems through a built-in cyber resilient architecture,
providing real-time protection, analysis and reaction to cyber
attacks, managed directly by the system
- Forza NEC –
the Italian Armed Forces’ network enabled capability digitalisation
programme, designed to support peace-keeping and peace-enforcement
missions
- Crisis Management
System – an advanced solution for the support and
coordination of activities and resources during preparedness,
response and mitigation phases in case of disasters
- TWR-S –
innovative hand-held solution suitable for emergency and
life-threatening situations that allows users to see inside
buildings
- Combat Management
System (CMS) – suitable for any class of vessel, from
patrol vessels through to aircraft carriers, the CMS provides
surveillance, sensors management, tactical picture management,
navigation support, threat evaluation and weapon assignment, weapon
system management, operations planning, multi tactical data link,
and on-board training
- Integrated System for
Territory Control – supports Law Enforcement Agencies in
critical interventions, by co-ordinating activities and the
enhancement of real time situational awareness
- Unmanned Air Systems
(UAS) Training solution– based on the company’s experience
as the training partner on the Thales UK WATCHKEEPER TUAV
programme, this solution develops training for operators on any UAS
platform and operating environment
- Virtual Maintenance
Training – suite of computer-based maintenance training
systems that have helped improve operational capability of many
major platforms including Eurofighter Typhoon and F-16.

DSEi is one of the world’s largest defence and security
