19 June 2009 – SELEX Systems Integration Ltd, a Finmeccanica company, has been invited onto the International Council of Systems Engineering (INCOSE) UK Advisory Board (UKAB).

INCOSE UK’s main aim is to foster the definition, recognition, understanding and practice of world class systems engineering in Industry, Academia and Government. It has over 700 members. As an extension of this, the UKAB provides a forum for UK systems engineering organisations (within industry, government and academia) to influence the activities that INCOSE UK undertakes, and the systems engineering best practice that INCOSE UK promotes.

SELEX Systems Integration Head of Engineering – Transport, Mark Fielding-Smith, who will represent the company at board meetings, said: “We are delighted to have been invited to join INCOSE’s UKAB. Being a board member provides SELEX Systems Integration with the opportunity to interact directly with government and academia as a sounding board on key systems engineering issues.”
