SELEX Systems Integration joins INCOSE UK Advisory Board
19 June 2009 – SELEX Systems Integration Ltd, a Finmeccanica
company, has been invited onto the International Council of Systems
Engineering (INCOSE) UK Advisory Board (UKAB).
INCOSE UK’s main aim is to foster the definition, recognition,
understanding and practice of world class systems engineering in
Industry, Academia and Government. It has over 700 members. As an
extension of this, the UKAB provides a forum for UK systems
engineering organisations (within industry, government and
academia) to influence the activities that INCOSE UK undertakes,
and the systems engineering best practice that INCOSE UK
promotes.
SELEX Systems Integration Head of Engineering – Transport, Mark
Fielding-Smith, who will represent the company at board meetings,
said: “We are delighted to have been invited to join INCOSE’s UKAB.
Being a board member provides SELEX Systems Integration with the
opportunity to interact directly with government and academia as a
sounding board on key systems engineering issues.”
