SELEX Systems Integration places focus on transformation at ITEC 2010

13 May 2010 – SELEX Systems Integration Ltd, a Finmeccanica company, will once again be attending the International Training Exhibition and Conference (ITEC). Visitors to the SELEX Systems Integration stand (E110) will have the opportunity to learn how our Training Solutions team can transform an organisation’s approach to training and help deliver enhanced operational capability.

ITEC is Europe's only annual dedicated conference and exhibition for defence training, education and simulation, with visitors from over 45 countries. This year it takes place in London from 18-20 May 2010, where SELEX Systems Integration will be continuing its long-term support of ITEC by contributing to the conference and exhibition.

SELEX Systems Integration has great heritage in the training arena, and its dedicated Training Solutions team represents the long-established training capability of VEGA Group PLC, VEGA Deutschland, and VEGA France. The team has two decades’ experience in the definition, development, and management of through-life military training solutions to help enhance operational capability and organisational performance for some of Europe’s most technologically complex platforms.

Visitors to SELEX Systems Integration’s stand will be able to engage with our training consultants to discuss how the latest training technologies (including virtual worlds, serious games, and synthetic equipment trainers) could help transform their organisation's specific learning requirement.

Additionally, delegates to the ITEC conference can hear members of the SELEX Systems Integration Training Solutions team discussing a range of learning topics as part of the ITEC conference programme. Our conference presence comprises:

• Louise Thomas who will be presenting on 'Making the Intelligent Customer More Intelligent' within the 'Future Challenges in Training' Conference stream
• Darrren Harvey and Chris Harris in collaboration with Major Are Egebakken and Major Andreas Monge from the Norwegian Air Force Training Centre within the Training Maintainers Through Life Conference stream
• Alex Lever who will be leading sessions on 'Training Maintainers Through Life'
