SELEX Systems Integration focuses on training transformation at
ITEC
07 April 2009 – SELEX Systems Integration
Ltd, a Finmeccanica company, will be attending the International
Training Exhibition and Conference (ITEC) and delivering
presentations on a range of topics, including training
transformation.
ITEC is Europe's only annual dedicated
conference and exhibition for defence training, education and
simulation, with visitors from over 45 countries. This year it
takes place in Brussels from 12-14 May 2009.
ITEC 09 offers visitors the first
opportunity to engage with the dedicated Training Solutions team of
the newly formed prime contracting and systems integration company,
SELEX Systems Integration. The Training Solutions team represents
the long established training capability of VEGA Group PLC, VEGA
Deutschland, and VEGA France. Visitors to the SELEX Systems
Integration stand (F112) can engage with our training consultants
to discuss how to gain maximum training effectiveness by selecting
the most appropriate training technologies (including virtual
worlds, serious games, and synthetic equipment trainers) to help
transform an organisation's approach to learning.
In addition to our exhibition presence, the
SELEX Systems Integration Training Solutions team can be found
contributing to ITEC’s conference proceedings. Our speakers
include:
- ‘Training Transformation – Better, Cheaper,
Shorter’, by Commodore Tony Miklinski (Rtd) – Director Training
Solutions (Military Transformation and its Inherent
Challenges)
- ‘Distributed Maintenance Simulators for
Training and Support’, by Bernd Höhner – Principal Software
Engineer (Future Technology for Training and Support)
- ‘An Information Performance Support System
(IPSS) – A TLCM Case Study’, by Neil Stewart – Deputy Director
Training Solutions (Future Technology for Training and
Support)
- ‘UOR/Evolutionary Procurement – The
