SELEX System Integration’s heritage stems from the merger of
Plessey Radar and Marconi Radar Systems, giving us a unique breadth
and depth of experience and expertise in the deployment of sensors
within highly regulated, safety critical domains.
SELEX Systems Integration is the System Design Authority for
Watchman & S511 radar systems, and we
currently support more than 40 Watchman
and ten S511 radar installations.
We are also the Prime Contracting System Integrator / turnkey
supplier for the world’s most advanced radar:
- ATCR33S Primary Surveillance Radar
- ATCR44S Primary Surveillance Radar
- SIR-S Monopulse Secondary Radar
These are in operation at 80 sites worldwide and take
performance and reliability to new levels, exceeding UK and
international radar safety standards and requirements, and being
wind-farm tolerant.

projects as each project represents a different set of regulatory,
operational, technical, financial and support challenges. In each
case, stakeholders are fully engaged, and bespoke solutions
developed that fully meet the needs of all the stakeholders. From
project inception, we work closely with the client to fully
understand and develop their aspirations – both current and future
– regarding operational capability, long-term equipment
sustainability, and technology advancement. We also fully
understand the complexities of the regulatory requirements placed
upon our clients regarding the technical safeguarding of
surveillance and navigation equipments.
